Solution: Acrobat's platform - NYT Crossword

This is a pretty clean tech joke, if you’re in on it, although the preponderance of my “in-on-it” colleagues might groan. “Acrobat” is a program by ADOBE, a software company, and although I personally adore its products, when I went to look up why “Acrobat” is called “Acrobat” my query “Why is Adobe Acrobat —” immediately auto-filled “so slow.” In our office, anything you ever want to actually print on paper, as if it’s 1440 and your name is Johannes Gutenberg, must first be made into a PDF and opened in “Acrobat.” Which could be considered an acrobatic maneuver commonly known as jumping through hoops.
